Our History

Muth Electric was founded in 1970 by Dick and Darlene Muth, a young couple who had just begun their lives together in Ethan, South Dakota. Since then, the company has grown into one of the largest electrical contractors in the region, with over 500 employees. Despite its growth, Muth Electric is still proud to be a family-owned business, continuing to follow the mission established by its founders.

• VDC/BIM/CAD: We utilize the latest technology in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to bridge the gap between the office and the field, designing buildings more accurately and resolving potential issues before a job begins.
