Our History

E&S Electric, Inc. has a rich history dating back to 1958, when Irv Eichorst Sr. founded the family business. Starting with a focus on farm, service, and residential wiring, the company steadily expanded into the commercial and industrial sectors while always maintaining a strong commitment to its original customer base. Upon Irv Sr.'s retirement in 1974, his son, Irv Jr., took the reins, leveraging his apprenticeship training and ten years of experience to navigate the growing demand for electrical installations.

Over the following decades, the company continued to grow and evolve. In 1985, Irv Jr.'s son, Mike, joined the business, bringing his expertise in electrical design, project management, and design-build projects for larger commercial clients. John, Mike's brother, joined the company in 1997, further strengthening the family's commitment to excellence. Both Mike and John are Master Electricians and graduates of Dunwoody Industrial Institute in Minneapolis, MN. Their experience, gained from a young age working alongside their father, proved invaluable to the company as its staff grew to over 30 members.
