Our story began in 1972 when Garfield Electric, one of the first merit shops in Cincinnati, was founded. In 1988, Garfield Electric shareholders expanded their market reach by partnering with Indecon, a contractor specializing in industrial projects. In 2002, Ohio Valley Electrical Services was established, and in 2018, we became a 100% employee-owned company.
Our mission is to bring the transformational power of electricity to our communities, energizing them with vibrance, productivity, innovation, and comfort. We invest in the right people, culture, capabilities, equipment, certifications, and relationships to tackle projects of any scale, complexity, and difficulty.
