Pacific Coast Electrical Contractors (PCEC) is a renowned electrical contracting firm that has been in business for over 30 years. Our Story
PCEC was founded in 1993, and since then, we have been consistently delivering top-notch electrical services to our clients. Our success can be attributed to our commitment to ethical business practices, respect for our customers, employees, partners, and a strong work ethic. Over the years, we have adapted to the changing needs of our clients and the industry, including shifting into EC/CM contracts.
Our Approach

Meet the Team
Our team is led by dedicated and experienced professionals who value their work and the people they work with. David Blackburn, our President and Co-Founder, has strong relationships with everyone he works with and has taught at the University of Washington. Rick Rothermel, our Vice President and Co-Founder, has over 21 years of experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, and Foreman Electrician. He previously held the position of President of the National Electrical Contractors Association Puget Sound Chapter (NECA).
Joe Rodriguez, our Senior Operations/Project Manager, has been with PCEC since 2006 and is known for his calm and collected approach to problem-solving and decision-making. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. Christina Rodriguez, our Office Manager/Bookkeeper, has been with PCEC since 2014 and is proficient in accounting and office operations. She loves country music and spicy food.
Scott Driscoll, our Project Manager/Estimator, has been with PCEC since 2016 and is passionate about his job. He is always excited to teach and has the patience to ensure full understanding. His other interests include hiking in the Cascades, traveling, and discovering new Stouts. Ryan McBride, our Project Manager/Service Department, has been in the electrical construction industry for many years and is in charge of PCEC's service department. He enjoys spending quality time with his family.
