Our History

Long-McGehee Electric was founded in 1945 by Alec Long and Moody McGehee. The company has since undergone several changes in ownership and management, with Emery Sheffield, Larry Robinson, and Robert Slaton joining the business in 1964. In 1970, the company created a separate entity, Central Electric Company, to provide small services in the tri-county area. The corporate name was changed to Central/Long McGehee Inc. throughout the process.

Our company has a long history of providing quality electrical services to Montgomery's building contractors, and we have also worked with Montgomery citizens and institutions. We are committed to providing excellent work for all of our valuable clients.
